Margaret 'Joyce'LOWELOWE MARGARET 'JOYCE' December 19th, 2015 Peacefully passed away aged 99 years. Born in Chester, aged 14 she won an open scholarship to read music at St Martin's, London. However, post education at Queens Chester, she worked for 20 years in the family silver business, Lowe & Sons and was elected the first lady member of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths before moving to Switzerland to help build up Aiglon College. Over the next 30 years, she played a fundamental role in the school's direction and cultivation of the worldwide Alumni. Eventually retiring to Bournemouth, she was a member of the Wesley Guild and The League of Friends of Royal Bournemouth Hospital raising considerable funds. Her lively personality, wisdom and warmth will be fondly remembered by all. Her memorial service will be held at 3.00pm on Friday 22nd January 2016 at Richmond Hill St Andrew's Church in Bournemouth.
